MPA4Change Final Event
The “MPA4Change Final Event – Climate change adaptation in Mediterranean coastal areas” will be the final gathering of this inititative that, during the last two years, has actively facilitated the implementation of climate adaptation strategies within Marine Protected Areas throughout the Mediterranean basin.
On the one hand, it will be an opportunity to know the latest project developments, other projects that are contributing to marine conservation in the Mediterranean region, and engage further in new initiatives on climate change adaptation after its closure.
On the other hand, it will include the participation of Interreg Euro-MED programme´s representatives and other partnering organisations whose valuable support is helping MPA4Change raising its voice to reach key stakeholders on the Mediterranean region and helping us advocating for the integration of strategic recommendations into regional policy frameworks.
To end with, the session will close with a panel discussion.

Register to MPA4Change´s Final Event
Away from being an isolated gathering, the MPA4Change Final Event will be organised as a side event of the Institutional Dialogue on Mediterranean Nature Restoration and Cooperation, which will take place from 25th to 27th November 2025 in this same city.
The Institutional Dialogue is organised in the framework of the Interreg Euro-MED Natural Heritage Mission (NHM), specifically by MedCities and CREAF in collaboration with all the NHM´s projects. You can take a look to the Institutional Dialogue´s concept note and agenda for the 25th of November.
Both events will take place in the Ateneu Barcelonés, in Barcelona.
