MPA4Change is pleased to announce that registrations are now open for the upcoming Online Policy Bootcamp titled Marine Protected Areas: facing the climate emergency. The event will take place on 17 December 2025 at 10:00 CET and will run until 12:30.
The Bootcamp is part of the Interreg Euro-MED project that aims to strengthen the role of Marine Protected Areas as effective Nature-based Solutions for climate resilience. This online session will bring together policymakers, MPA managers, and a wide range of stakeholders committed to advancing climate adaptation in the Mediterranean.
A dedicated space for policy exchange
The programme will offer a focused discussion on policy recommendations that can accelerate climate adaptation across Mediterranean MPAs. Participants will have the opportunity to explore practical tools, advocacy approaches, and real-world examples that show how MPAs can respond to climate challenges. These solutions will be framed within the 100MPA MedAlliance, a collaborative initiative developed under MPA4Change to scale up climate adaptation planning across the Mediterranean basin.
